Status regulated supplier of in-flight supplies

Certain companies supply goods needed during the flight. For example meals, blankets and other items. These companies may be granted the status of regulated supplier of in-flight supplies.

Definition

A supplier whose procedures meet common security rules and standards to a sufficient degree to allow delivery of in-flight supplies directly to aircraft.

If a company has the status of regulated supplier, this means that the company meets national and European legislation. The current list of regulated agents or known consignors can be found in the EU database.
